Our Story
Our organization's genesis can be traced back to Dorothy F. Thomas, a dedicated community advocate and seasoned educator. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in K-6 Education from Flagler College, Dorothy's illustrious career spanned over 38 years with the Gadsden County School Board, where she held diverse roles from behavioral specialist to administrative assistant.
Her professional journey also included pivotal positions such as program coordinator for Tallahassee Community College's 21st Century Community Learning Center Program and SSES Extended Learning Day Program. FUN2LEARN Summer Camp, & Children Initiatives for Students & Families, Inc. unities In Schools of Gadsden, where she played a pivotal role in achieving organizational certification.
Leveraging this rich tapestry of experiences, our organization has evolved into a beacon of empowerment, dedicated to nurturing individuals through programs that instill confidence, leadership skills, and career preparedness. Our ethos is deeply rooted in years of public service, community involvement, and a profound appreciation for the transformative impact of education.
